We were delighted to be selected as 2023/2024 Britten Pears Young Artists, attending the ‘Chamber Futures’ course where we spent 10 days in Snape Maltings, Aldeburough with the world renowned artists Quatour Bozzini and Melinda Maxwell. During this time we had many hours of coaching on contemporary repertoire and worked together in workshops alonside our fellow Britten Pears Young Artsists: Calathea Quartet, Ensemble Renard, and Lumas Winds. We were also thrilled to work on ‘Anafim’ a short work for string quartet that was commissioned for us by Britten Pears Arts and was written by Omri Kochavi. This work has become a firm favourite of ours and has since been extended into a longer piece with multiple movements named ‘Arugot’.
