We spent three wonderful days reciving valuable coaching from Dirk Mommertz of the Fauré Quartet and from Marie Chilemme and Gabriel Le Magadure of Quatour Ébène. During this time we were also fortunate to attend a concert given by Quatour Ébène which was preceeded by a cinema screening of the group’s documentary ‘4’, which we enjoyed immensely. We closed our time at the festival with a concert at the Holywell Music Room, the oldest purpose-built chamber music hall in Europe, featuring alongside brilliant fellow OCMF Studio ensembles Chaos String Quartet, Fides Quartet, Animato Quartet and Valegro String Quartet.
